PEACE OF GREEN

Writing with *Leaves

Recently we received a Peace Lily.  It grew and flourished.  Tiny buds appeared as if by magic.  Many white ones opened sporting gold centers.  Then, a greenish one reached skyward.

"It will soon turn white," I thought.

Several days Passed. "Not happening.  It has a green center"

"Turning Green."

It's All Random:
I picked up another story draft (Colors of Love, Sept 1998) and, neatly typed, I read:

Why the green?  In color therapy
** green is sometimes referred to as the 'master color. ' which benefits all conditions.  One always has the option of choosing green, when uncertain about the best color for correcting an imbalance.  Green can be used for strengthening weaknesses.  Green, the color associated with spring, is...the color of renewal.  According to Chinese medicine, green has a healing value for the liver.

Color therapy uses color from light or...materials to augment healing.  It is applied in a variety of healing arts....psychologists and businesses [can use color] to motivate specific behavior patterns.

** In various metaphysical and Vedic teachings, the green ray correlates with the Heart Chakra located at the center of the chest....

*** Jou, Tsung Hwa suggested practicing Tai Chi in nature, a green abundance.  In winter or when indoors, practice looking at a green plant.
