MESSAGES FROM GOD

*The Dream of the Blue and Green Angels

What are Visions, Miracles, Spirits, and Angels?  Can dreams take us to another dimension?  How can we experience the power of God in our lives?  Can we reach out and share with others?

*Messages from God is a new book by Lyla Kay Scales.  In the introduction she speaks:

"....These are true stories from my life.  I am sure similar things have happened to many of you.  Sometimes when we tell these stories we are judged or made fun of.  I choose to share these with you, because the past provides me with lessons that help me live today more fully, and I hope they help you on your journey through life...."

Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.
Hebrews 13:2

ALL OF A SUDDEN

                                                             Still Motion

All of a sudden a story came in, complete with title and pictures!

Beach Walking:
In the last precious windless and warm November days Paul, Rob and I wandered the beach at sunset, drinking in the quiet and color of a magic land, sky, and water.  Colors are never the same The constant flow motion of ever evolving hues reminds me of painter Claude Monet.  He lined up canvases and worked sequentially over them as the light and colors shifted in series of paintings such as Rouen Cathedral, Haystacks, Water Lilies and more.

                                                        Shimmering Light

On the beach dune grass green is streaked with gold now.  A pale half moon rises through pine branches that scratch and claw the skyPieces of rock, a few fossils, and brick from ancient structures worn smooth by water invite a look.  I felt familiar sand crunch and float underfoot.  Gulls watched us with great suspicion.  A loan seagull launched and repeatedly circled us overhead, defending his territory?   We walked past the gulls toward the direction of the light snow at sunset yet to come.

As we wandered on, we noticed the other worldly colors turn and dance in a palette of cosmic tones of lilac and turquoise, peach, orange and pink.  We felt captivated and bathed in the harmonies of light and shade.  The water flickered with misty white and ice blue-green, later tinged with bright orange of sun sinking to horizon.

I thought about Tai Chi practice and how, at sunrise and sunset, the Earth and Sky invoke a balance of Yin and Yang harmonies.  I felt ancient times and spaces.

Nature Does Not Hurry, Yet All Is Accomplished
                                                                       Lao Tzu, Tao te Ching

I became (feel) like a four footed furry friend on the beach, looking down at the tracks sculpted into the sand.  I can read the stories!   Paw marks large and small, with and without claws, romped.   Fan shaped seagull prints waddled and various decorative gym shoe bottoms carved their patterns into the evening sand, now tinted with green and pink from the sunlight.

I noticed snow fences are up now.  The usual November here boasts cutting winds and dusky skies laced with sleet and snow.

Suddenly I turned quickly and viewed the flock of sand sitting seagulls now behind us.  Their white gray feathers glowed lavender pink the twilight of red rays emitted by the setting sun. Without warning, the entire flock launched into flight!  We were engulfed in a "sea" of floating gulls, calling with their kitten-like cries.

Earlier, bright gold jet streaks from Chicago flights pierced the sky.  Later, slowly yet swiftly the disk of the sun sank into a cloud bank on the lake, drawing the curtains between Heaven and Earth.

THANKS~BEYOND EXPECTATIONS

                                                       Painting with Sunlight

Thanks for the Memories sung by Bob Hope is playing in my head?  Where did he come from?  The "old times" of black and white TV also rewind The Lone Ranger and my favorite, Silver, his horse!  I am getting into fast forward/rewind simultaneously.  Memories, pictures, and dreams flood my being, a cleansing and renewal.

Giving Thanks Comes in Many Dimensions.

What appeared this year?
Let it Go (grow).
Let your clarity define you.
The future has arrived!
A Time and Space for creative change is Now.

Visible/Invisible?
Intuition to Fruition~

"This stuff is way too advanced for me!"
"Keep Going--Keep Positive!"

Recently I imagined the animated movie, Meet the Robinsons.  Their family motto is "Keep Moving Forward."  Then within days the movie appeared on TV!  I needed mind clearing and fun.  Of course I sat and watched!  I had seen the movie several times before. I also thought about Back to the Future and City of Angels movies combining entertainment and awakening.  Every time of viewing these,  I learn something new and different.

*And then Bill Douglas' newsletter arrived with "timely" articles about Fibonacci Number Sequences and the Patterns of Nature, how quantum physics relates to Tai Chi and Qigong practice, and Tai Chi's role in achieving balanced healthy life right down to the cellular level.  I read and re-read the articles.  Bill is founder of World Tai Chi and Qigong Day and World Healing Day.

My memory raced back to reading Jou, Tsung Hwa's book, The Tao of Taijiquan.  Master Jou was a mathematician and explained Tai Chi both in scientific and mystical terms.  Big Yes!

** I "saw" in my imagination an image of Brian Cox, particle physicist, throwing chemicals into a bonfire creating sparks of colors, "Light Shapes Life!"

"This is exactly it!"

                                                       Sancat Triple Vision

One evening, my son Rob and I were in the kitchen.  Sancat, our blond boy, was lounging on the cat counter.  It was night and the curtains were still open.  In passing, I glanced out the glass patio door and stopped stock still.  The reflection in the glass revealed Sancat with faint images of himself surrounding his core image!

"Look at this, it's like seeing planes of light, windows into other dimensions!"

I grabbed my always ready camera and captured the faint image in the glass with no flash.  I had no expectations of  any usable pictures from such a fuzzy unfocused look.  But the photos took!  Just to make sure I penciled a sketch.  The light was reflected (split) back to us in the thermopane glass.  Multiple reflections of Sancat had appeared in the (double) glass.

The Vertical Rainbow
Recently friends contributed:

"I saw a vertical rainbow!  It was very wide and very bright!"  I remembered when Rob and I saw a table shaped rainbow with pink in it....

"I saw a reflection in the sky as I was driving, it was about 4 PM on Nov 8.  There was an image of a full moon in the daytime sky?  It was the time of month for the crescent moon.  I had already seen the crescent moon in the night sky.  To the right of the daytime moon image, and a bit lower than the moon, I saw a yellow light that looked like the sun.  I saw this image three times as the clouds parted!  I was puzzled.   An elder suggested, 'This image means change.' "

NOW!  I celebrate the practice of Tai Chi and Qigong worldwide as total living, breathing experiences of the life force (qi) cultivating within us and radiating outward to others.  I give thanks for the continuous and unfolding journeys of ourselves, the paths we walk.  I am thankful this year for an opening in our visual and sensory perceptions of ourselves and others.  I feel deep gratitude for Earth, her Creatures, and All Life here and beyond.  I am filled with abundance from family, friends, physical and non-physical teachers, and readers of Out of the Blue!

"I honor my sacred journey, I honor the sacred journey of others," Debra Basham

In these small hours time falls away~

It's better than everybody thought it would be!

AFTERMATH

A horse appears and stays in my imagination.  Why a horse?  I know him well.  He is alone in the desert and hill country surrounded by dry grasses that swish when he walks.

He pauses, he senses, he looks, he sees....he knows!

Who is he?

I feel a great sense of intuition as I view the horse, my painted companion.  I feel Walt Disney's Fantasia all around us as I hear and see again Rite of Spring, haunting music by Igor Stravinsky, and cartoons about the creation of Earth and era of the dinosaurs.  I feel the animated creatures raise their heads and look, some running at the approach of the Thunder Lizard as lightening and dark clouds flash.

The horse raises his head and neck up too What's up?

Again I ask, "Why the horse?"  The answer:  the horse is a very powerful energy, strong in body in spirit, focused, centered, and displaying a sense of humor and playfulness.  I think now of the Pastoral Symphony, Beethoven's 6th, in Fantasia and the flying horse family with their multicolored foals frolicking in clouds and water.

*I pause to put on music, American Tune, by Simon and Garfunkel.  I hear...I sing along:
"...so far away from home....and I dreamed I was flying.  High up above, my eyes could clearly see, Statue of Liberty, sailing away to sea...."

Hurricane Sandy came and went, leaving a whirlwind of twisted memories:  floating cars, flooding houses, LaGuardia airport, "under water" and lightless water filled subway lines dotting the eerie scene.

"And the people bowed and prayed to the neon god they made..."
Sounds of Silence, Simon and Garfunkel

In my imagination from many years ago, I visited again New York City.  I flew into LaGuardia then, and peered out the window as water rose up to meet runway.  Would we touch down safely?  Yes!

My friend and her parents met me at the airport, and as we drove toward the city, the golden skyline jolted my eyes!  We took in art museums, a Broadway show, ethnic restaurants, bagel bakeries and much more.  My friend and I were young single girls then!  Her parents lived in Queens.  I absorbed New York with expert guides!

Recently I watched a benefit concert on (old fashioned) TV and relived songs by musicians like Sting, Bruce Springsteen, John Bonjovi, Arrowsmith and more.  I saw people scrambling to clutch water soaked photos salvaged from their homes, sometimes all they had left.  Pictures, physical and nonphysical, are so important to connect us "here and now" with our timelines.

I got out (old fashioned) Cd's and played selections of Elton John, Simon and Garfunkel, and Sting.  I ached.

*  "New York, to that tall skyline I come,
flying in from London to your door.
New York, looking down on Central Park....There's a heart, a heart that lives in New York...."
