COLORS OF GOD

*Life Colors

*My friend, Deborah, asked me, "What color is God?"

"Hues are full spectrum and beyond.  These include crystal and textured colors of Heaven too vivid to imagine or even paint with neon brush strokes."

Later, Deborah shared her writing.  "I think of you as an anchor, a kindred spirit, a validation of the mostly hidden but emerging part of me.  You are a companion in the development of that part."

"Here are my thoughts in answer to the question, 'What color is God?'  My body is empowered through energy centers expressed in colors."

RED: community of family and friends, country, world, the power of mutual understanding, support, and experience

ORANGE:  surprises of new patterns like a lightly tapped kaleidoscope, the tingle of touch, the power of surging emotions, waterfalls

YELLOW:  power to approach methodically and gently follow step by step, completion of a task:  the power to do, to accomplish, the revealing of capabilities

GREEN:  soothing, caressing, strengthening, pain to peace, hurt to healing

BLUE:  power to speak, to observe and then describe, to name realities around us that have no visible physical form, to express one's truth, to know one another more deeply

INDIGO:  imagination, a special way of knowing, a trustworthy foundation and personal guide

VIOLET:  the life beyond, above, and below what we see and touch, the next room, the next chapter, the eternal dimension where all tears are dried, all wounds healed, and there is endless rejoicing:  Home

Deborah continued by phone, "Since we had our angel discussion, I am aware of the name Mary as my special friend.  I now feel there is protection and guidance in the universe for me.  So many others have felt this all their lives.  Actually, as I look back, I see countless signs of protection.   Although that protection was not felt then nor did it save me from considerable difficulties, I now know that it was there."

How can you express your personal spectrum with paint or crayons, words, vibrations, colors, or sing musical melodies or chants?

*Life Colors
"Looking for" a colorful picture for this post, an E-mail arrived.  A child had gleefully colored the  above picture/calendar for me!  I eagerly received permission to print the coloring.  We see the earth tones and full spectrum display.  I note the prominent dark and light blues and purples.  In the numbers 2012, we have the pink of unconditional love!

**Shirley MacLaine in her book, The Camino, notes increased shades of lavender and purple becoming visible as a shift into invisible dimensions on the Earth, beyond the third dimension.

Another friend contributed, "My Mother, an artist, took me to the Arizona desert and said, 'Look at all the colors!' "

"I don't see any colors, it's just sand and cactus to me."

"Years later, after I started painting, I visited the desert again.  I was amazed at a new display of beautiful colors.  I had tuned into the sensitivity of the lilacs, blues, even pinks and purples in the rocks and sand."

"Artists bring God's colors to Earth."

MARY AND THE ANGEL

      *  Seasons, years, washed away by rain, fade like watercolor impressions.

An opportunity arose to paint a series of pictures while talking to a local church group some years ago.  To rehearse, I'd do a talk at home by myself along with practicing the companion chalk or ink painting.  I chose "simple and swift" to create and hold interest.

Fifty people gathered.  I felt confident as I heard them babble.  Hearing my introduction, I walked to the easel, picked up the soft white pastel chalk, smiled and began to speak:  "Advent, a time of waiting...."  The theme was patience, acceptance, and exploring life's directions.  I thought about many paths I walk.  How impatient am I?  Plenty!

Pencil touched illustration board.  I sketched the side of Mary's face with soft, sure strokes.  I shaded the chin and blended it lightly with my hands like sculpting with pencil and chalk instead of honing marble.  Mary's face rose up three dimensionally.  The veil flowed from the pencil.  Then I misted it with white pastel.  While speaking, I stood to the side of the easel and drew across the painting.  Looking out at my audience as I worked, everyone could see the painted action spring to life.

I chalked in the angel of light, ghostlike with diaphanous silver white beams streaked then blended with my fingers.  I put the finishing touches on Mary's eyes, the shadow of the eyelid over the eyes, the pinpoint of highlight in the pupil.  The eyes sparkled, receiving life, my favorite part of painting faces.

Talk over, painting finished, I stood aside.  Applause washed over me.  My heart smiled.  The group started to file out for coffee.  I glowed from praise and adrenaline rush and tried to project humility.  Three people stopped by to talk.  One had a photo in her wallet, a drawing done by an Italian mystic who claimed his hand was guided by God.  His drawing of Mary was haunting.  The expressive upward looking eyes were remarkably similar to my painting.  In my practice drawing at home, Mary's eyes looked straight forward and seemed forlorn.

A man claimed I had already drawn in the eyes before class because he saw them right away.  He said that in some moment of the talk, I worked over the eyes again.  Answering, I pointed out the tiny pencil dots in the corners of the eyes and the bottom of the nose were the only advance guidelines.  Drawing from the side, and at a slant, I didn't want any mistakes in perception with alignment of eyes and nose.  "Oh, no, you already had the eyes drawn in," the man insisted.  "I saw them when I came into the room!"

The third viewer told me she saw the entire pencil outline of the finished picture.  "And you just traced over the lines that were already there!"  I pointed out the tiny pencil dots again, but she stated that all the pencil lines were clearly visible, dark enough for her to see from her seat near the back.

I was startled.  What was happening?  I felt like a Zen artist, painting what was already painted....

All my life I have thought about painting and creative inspiration:  how and why it happens, or doesn't happen....Gradually I am learning to brush clouds of control and ego aside, surrendering to love's light and feeling free to create paintings, words, and better relationships with people for a more balanced life.

Restless dreams had slowly prepared me for the next steps up the mountain at sunrise.  Often I climbed on against my will.  At times, inspiration slept, buried under winter snow....then new fresh green stalks sprouted, combining both Earth's nourishment (Yin) and fire of Heaven (Yang) to reach fullest bloom.

The rosebud of the soul opens slowly, petal by petal, to become the highest potential of the spirit.  Can I be patient enough?

CHRISTMAS MEMORY

"I am convinced no one comes to my door by accident."

Lorrenne bubbled as she invited me into the sun porch of her home at Sunnybrook Farm.  It was March then, many years ago.  Bare trees were bending and creaking in the gray and white winter's last hurrah in Iowa.  And now it is Christmas, many years and endless miles later.  As I write, I am looking out over a snow dusted sunny morning, breathing in a Claude Monet living painting before my eyes.  Monet loved snow shadow blues, subtle oranges and violets.  I see blue-violet and red-violet superimposed with an imaginary paintbrush.

I flash back to winters long ago in Western Pennsylvania.  I think of deep snows that blew icy talcum powder swirls and sparkled like blue and silver diamonds in the light of Christmas nights.  We had a live pine tree spreading invigorating fresh scent in our home.  We watched the large multicolored lights sparkle bright.  One year we had a tree lit with all blue lights!  My Dad and I set up the electric train.  Some of my plastic farm came out of the attic every Christmas.

I am a little girl again playing in the attic.  "Little Iowa Farm," was complete with farmhouse, barn, and many animals.  The farm was up all year.  In winter I set down a white sheet for snow.  Summer I had a green sheet showing.  I wanted to live in Iowa because Steve Field lived in Iowa and raised prize collies.  My first collie, Lad, traced down to Steve's champion Parader Collies.  What city in Iowa would be good for my future farm?  I got in a map and zeroed in on the Cedar Rapids area.

My imaginary farm grew and grew.  My dad helped me get enamel paint.  I repainted each plain brown, black or white animal figure with realistic coat markings, each one different.  Now I had Holstein cows with spots of black on white.  I had my favorite cow and calf!  My chosen horse had a tiny star on his coal black body.  Painted plastic collies in golds, tri-color, and blue merle danced in front of my sign:  Sunnybrook Kennels.

Christmases passed.  Many dogs, cats, and horses raced across paper and canvas.  Meanwhile we had relocated to Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  One summer day, I found myself driving down a dusty hot gravel road.  I "felt" strangely familiar here.  The farmhouse and barn came into view, the black and white Holstein cows were in the field.  The sign said (wait for it) SUNNYBROOK KENNELS!  I turned into the driveway and was greeted by a happy chorus of barking from the boarding kennel.  I felt warmth and love.  I approached the door and knocked.  Lorrenne answered.  I was taken by the fact that Lorrenne looked so much like my silver haired Collie breeder friend, *Bobbee Roos, in Washington D.C. area where we had lived.  Both women also loved to write!

I talked to Lorrenne about boarding our silver Collie, Sky, and two ornery cats, Zar and Zara.  There were farm cats a-plenty.  There were kittens in the barn.  Tony, a giant gray rangy Egyptian looking tabby cat, could knock you over with his friendliness and thunderous purr.  Lorrenne had prize Schipperke dogs, coal black "Little Captains," so eager and alert.

Warm feelings of Sunnybrook grew like grain.  Lorrenne and I became friends.  We shared memories and spiritual dimensions of thoughts, prayers, and realities.  Sitting in Lorrenne's warm kitchen over steaming coffee and warm cookies, one day she said to me, "I have a simple faith."

Lorrenne continues:  "I know a priest who was at a spiritual retreat center.  He stopped to rest on a bench by himself.  Another man came and sat beside my friend.  When they talked, the priest was astounded that this man knew all about his life in great detail even though they had not previously met.  Later, in the group gathering, the priest's companion was not there!"

"I am convinced this teacher was an Angel!"

Seasons rotate and evolve in a cosmic dance.  Our family moved on to other locations where the winters are not as sharp and cold as Iowa was.  Silver shrouds of snow melt more quickly here.  Skies can be cloudy gray from smoke to pearl.  I have continued my path to explore spiritual directions taught to me by God's teachers, Lorrenne and Glen.

I have my kennel/ zoo retreat center on my walls now.  Cheetahs, lions, tigers, snow leopards, zebras and wolves join the animal parade.  There is an occasional barn and a "fortress deep and mighty," Mont-Saint-Michel, along with horses and dogs.  Angels join in to grace my heart-mind.

Albert Payson Terhune, author, comes to mind.  He banged out his Sunnybank Collie stories on an old typewriter from his home in New Jersey.  "One or more collies lie sleeping at my feet as I write."  He continued, there are also, "furry ghosts that haunt my memory."  Terhune wrote so vividly, I can see photograph clear images as I read his words.  I know these Collies deeply!

Meanwhile Sunnybrook Farm also nestles warm in my memory.  The tree is trimmed and lit, presents await eager young children.  Pie is baking and coffee brews.  I can see again twilight settling in over snow banks.  I feel again the blueness in the dusk of an Iowa Christmas.  Golden light radiates from curtained windows.  I know God is Love!

T-I-M-E

"Imagination is more important than knowledge," Albert Einstein

It's About Time!
I picked up the phone, "Mom!  We want to do so many projects.  How can we?  Do you ever think about this?"

"All the time."

"Mom, I was thinking that accomplishing a project has to do with several factors:
Time-Money-Energy."

Later as my mind wandered and wondered,  felt "T-I-M-E" appear:

T--Time/Travel

I--Imagination/Intuition

M--Money/Abundance

E--Energy/Empathy

Rewinding bits of conversations and writings, I mused about T-I-M-E.

Time/Travel:  Do I have "physical" time to travel towards my goals and projects?  I need to plan ahead for my travel wish list to see people, cities, countries, mountains and oceans.  Can I add another project, adventure, event, meeting, and social networking to my smorgasbord schedule?  Can I remain centered, calm, and focused with more on my plate?  Daily Tai Chi practice helps me here, clearing my mind for yes or no to additional commitments.

Imagination/Intuition:  Rob thinks "Imagination is another dimension."  Will my new projects open my mind to a more creative, imaginative life?  *Imagine Healing is already here!  If I were free of concerns, debt, and other issues, what would I do right now?  Where would I live?  Who would accompany me?

What intuitively feels right for me?  Is there static on the line about joining the new group or meeting?  If there is, or if I need to let go of a current situation, so be it!  Then, I can move forward.  Where do I need to be right now?  At this moment, what project should I be doing at home, school, or work?  Can I be flexible enough to "Grow and Glow with the Flow" if a new spontaneous opportunity arises?

Money/Abundance:  Are my new projects cost effective?  Can I afford that great trip or a shopping spree?  Will I get long lasting emotional and physical return for my outlay of cash?

Beyond physical money or the acquisition of souvenirs is the emotional peace and gratification of abundance.  Climbing to a mountaintop and gazing at the sunrise even in your imagination is free of charge and recharges the spirit.  Will my "abundance" projects enhance my creative experience, energies, and friendships?  Will I feel pride of accomplishment and enjoy the satisfaction of acquiring higher skills, outreach, or purpose?

Energy/Empathy:  Do I have the physical, emotional, and spiritual energy to achieve my new goals?  How can I reach people like "me" in the energetic/etheric sense through intuition?  Imagine, and "all" is already here!

**Paul Lam, M.D., talks about empathy:

IN THE K(NOW)

Inspirations of Light in the midst of Global Change:

Rapid Spontaneous Events and Creativity are increasing.

Share Information

Going Within

Keep Love Strong

The pace of modern life seems to be speeding up, streaking ever faster as we have more to accomplish than can ever be done.  We feel creative and free to try new projects while connecting and sharing with others globally via technology.  Information floods us with the click of a button.  Suddenly we find ourselves turning 180 degrees at the speed of light and, intuitively, heading in yet another direction!

How can we keep up, or should we?  Going Within for quiet meditation every day is needed soul fuel to recharge our thinking and help us maintain health and stamina.  Moving meditations such as Tai Chi, Yoga, or walking a Labyrinth, can create a quiet space and inner harmony while moving into a state of relaxation and concentration. These exercises help us resonate with frequencies of the Earth.  We absorb the vibrations to the cellular level.  Brain and Body refresh and rejuvenate.  Healing can begin at all levels.

*Mayan Wisdom Keeper, Ac Tah, calls for "Internal Happiness." These quiet positive moments keep Love's focus strong and promote world peace and unity.

A picture of a large round clock with blue painted numbers came into my imagination.  The image morphed into a "Now Clock" ("Now" written where numbers were) and then fading into a "No-Thing" clock (a multidimensional circle without numbers.)  All are "timely."

THANKS-GIVING!

Thanks * Abundance * Gratitude

Thanksgiving season in USA is rolling around again, entering our lives in celebration of The Great Harvest.

What is Thanksgiving?  Turkey and trimmings and family joy memories come streaming in like videos.  While writing I re-live childhood memories of helping my Mom in our tiny kitchen, I melted the butter and tore the "stuffing bread" into pieces.  We tossed it together and added the poultry seasoning.  I loved to eat it raw rather than cooked.  Actually I ate a lot of raw foods like buckwheat pancake batter, vanilla cake batter, and everyone's favorite raw chocolate chip cookie dough.

Chopping walnuts was my job.  I ate as many as I chopped!  We always made Holiday Cranberry Salad, a delicious blend of raspberry jello, chopped celery, crisp Macintosh apples, and fresh plump English walnuts.  Relatives arrived bringing food and laughs.  My golden collie, Lad, and white cat, Shadow, waited eagerly for turkey.

What have I learned in Earth School about Giving Thanks?  Thanks-Giving:  what does "giving" mean?  When I give of myself to others how do I feel?  Joyous?  Drained?  Debra and I had a conversation.  She said, "Giving and receiving must be in balance, not too much either way.  There is harmony and action in giving and receiving."  What are motivations for giving?  Can giving be a selfish act (ego trip)?  What is unconditional giving/receiving?

Reflecting about "Thanks-giving," I am "Giving Thanks For Giving."  "For-Giving," of course!  Why does for-giving feel like a chore?  Forgiving and freeing ourselves and others is so needed to "Let Go-Let God" and open the heart with genuine joy.

Thank-full living inspires gratitude.  Positive unselfish intent is part of the recipe.

Unconditional giving and receiving, forgiving, letting go, feeling joy and gratitude is daily spiritual nourishment for ourselves and others.  Thanks-Giving is every day!

A-B-C's of TAI CHI

Tai Chi, A Quiet Space

George Eddy, a Tai Chi Instructor and Martial Artist, feels that Tai Chi learning and practice has A-B-C essentials:  Alignment, Breathing, Centering.

A-Alignment:  Standing comfortably erect and alert, shoulders relaxed and quieting the mind prepare us for Tai Chi practice.  Pretending there is a string attached to the crown of your head, and feeling the gentle lift upward awakens the body like a sunrise.  Picture yourself taller than you are.  Coming into a posture of tallness invites the mind to expand.  Taller than you are is achieved without strain in body or pushing shoulders upward.  Knees are unlocked and feet are totally relaxed and connected to the Earth.  Some gentle qigong movements can loosen the body or a warm up walk in nature's beauty boosts the spirit before practice.

B-Breathing:  In Tai Chi and Qigong forms, gentle deep breathing calms the mind and centers the body for greater enjoyment of better health and well being.  Aligned with correct posture, as you inhale, expand the Dan Tien (lower abdomen) about three finger widths below the belly button.  As you exhale, gently contract the Dan Tien.  *Yang, Zhen Duo, stated in a seminar that while learning Tai Chi, it is better for the beginner to concentrate on the movements.  The correct breathing patterns will follow.  A qualified instructor can help you.  There are also many different kinds kinds of breathing for Yoga and Martial Art routines.  My grandfather, Rev. P. J. Chilcote, used to say, "Deep breathing is the science of health!"  Walk about, sit in a chair or lie down and breathe!

C-Centering  Aligned and breathing deeply and naturally, concentrate on your Center Point.  This Dan Tien is also known as the Elixir Field.  This is a birthing place of all life and energy.  As you practice Tai Chi and Qigong, over time, your Dan Tien builds a reserve of qi ("Chee" energy), like a bank account.  My Tai Chi teacher, Jiong Gu feels, "If you have $5, spend $3 and put $2 in your Tai Chi bank account."  He means to not extend your entire energy in Tai Chi practice or practice to excess.  "All in balance."   Qigong (Chi Kung) means Energy Excellence or Energy Mastery.  Gong (Kung) Fu means "Excellence (Mastery) over Time."   Tai Chi is free of schedules or agendas of learning and experiencing.  Let it happen!

George suggests before Tai Chi practice, after alignment, breathing and concentration on center point to picture a white blackboard (dry erase board) and wipe all you have written or drawn on it clean and fresh.  Stand in relaxation with a totally clear mind to step into your Tai Chi window of practice and enjoyment of life.  Images or words may appear spontaneously on your white blackboard.  What are they?

George adds the 3 M's of Tai Chi:  medication, meditation, martial skill.

Medication:  Tai Chi and Qigong practices (forms) are deeply involved with becoming healthier over time.  Many people including Jou, Tsung Hwa; Dr. Yang, Jwing-ming; and Paul Lam, M.D. have managed or overcome physical challenges to become whole in body, mind, and spirit.  Countless others feel benefit.  In 1997 before beginning Tai Chi practice, I could not raise my arms even to shoulder level due to chronic pain.  Today I am healthier than ever and enjoy life fully, surrounded by many Tai Chi friends, family, and pets.  Relaxing while exercising during Tai Chi practice infuses energy down to the cellular level.

Meditation:  Tai Chi can induce meditative states, When you practice with a clear mind and an open heart, the joy of peace of mind enters your world.  This sense of inner calm can radiate to all levels in your life.  During practice you may feel a dreamlike state of quiet meditation.  These peaceful states while your practice are also increasing range of motion, strength, and endurance in your body.  Mind becomes more centered, focused, and clear.  Goals are achieved.  Better balance between left and right brain functions may occur.  In my case, my left brain opened, allowing me to be able to write in an organized more analytical way.  One of my friends, a physician, had his right brain open to intuitive thinking after practicing Tai Chi forms.

Martial Skill:  Tai Chi can also be practiced as a Martial Art.  A qualified teacher is necessary.  For a form practice student (non martial artist), awareness also increases and helps avoid accident or injury.  Better balance helped a friend of mine right herself and not fall backwards down steps while carrying groceries.  Another student became more aware in parking lots and took precautions.  Avoiding such situations is important plus following your intuition to "be there" or "not be there" as your feelings guide you.  The well-trained Martial Artist always looks for solutions to encounters without physical fighting.  Self confidence and assertiveness develops as we become grounded and clearly aware of our authentic selves and how to manage positive unselfish intent outward in our everyday lives.

There are only extraordinary moments!  Tai Chi is our window of opportunity.

RECREATE, RELAX, TRANSFORM!

Autumn:  A Time of Gathering and Reflection

How can Tai Chi help?
In a class by the beach our teacher, Janet, explained there are three levels of Tai Chi practice:  Recreation, Relaxation, Transformation.

Recreation
Notice that "recreation" is "re-creation" when we give our bodies, minds, and spirits a rest from the endless list of "must accomplish" activities and re-create a space for ourselves.  We regenerate and recharge needed energy reserves.  Tai Chi re-creation feels good as the body stretches and unwinds.  The mind centers itself.  Clear focus and awareness begin to develop in many areas of life.  When you practice Tai Chi in class as you become more comfortable, a few gentle moves can be included into a daily home routine.  Many Tai Chi students begin to write, paint, or sing, opening the creative heart-mind.  New Tai Chi friends appear.  Re-creation is here!

Relaxation
As the student progresses, a sense of inner peace and well being begins to spread throughout the person.  Wholeness and connection is developing.  You may find your temper is not as quick.  Breathing is easier.  Sleep deepens and natural color appears in your face.  When you are working on the computer your attitude improves as frustration levels begin to change.  Kay says take a few deep breaths, get up and walk around a minute.  Say to yourself or out loud, "It's only a machine and I am in control!"  Now the students finds comfort increasing practice a little more than just 3-5 minutes a day outside of class.  Perhaps 10 minutes once or twice daily is better and easier now, as Tai Chi becomes a joy filled event.

Transformation!
Tai Chi "Trance-formation" is when Tai Chi becomes a way of life.  Tai Chi is a self-care daily health program and meditation combined.  "All is possible with the mind," Paul Lam, M.D. believes.  Tai Chi is strengthening the body and regenerating the spirit.  Creative energies and increased positive thinking may surprisingly open doors and windows of opportunity.  At this stage the student may practice one or several Tai Chi and/or Qigong forms fitted to the individual so that 20-30 minutes or more feels right.  Some may even want a quick review later in the day if they are in the stage of learning a new form.  Endurance, strength, and spiritual outreach connect to new levels, and enhanced enjoyment appears.  Rob thinks, "Tai Chi enters the entire arena of your life."  Intent leads energy, transform with Tai Chi.

Tai Chi and Qigong are your exercises, designed by you for you!  You will be led to forms and exercises you need, what feels right for you is your path.  Tai Chi is not a substitute for qualified professional medical advice.  Consult a health care professional and qualified instructor.  "Tai Chi is free from competition and judgement.  All one energy in Tai Chi," states Jiong Gu, Tai Chi instructor and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  With Tai Chi and Qigong, the journey climbing the mountain and good company along the path makes the way much easier.  As we gaze from the mountain top, it's a beautiful sight!

THE TEAPOT IN THE WINDOW

"The universe works differently than is commonly supposed," Mildred

Several years a ago summer dream pleasantly surprised me by sending a gleaming blue and white teapot sitting on a honey toned oak window sill.  Veils of kitchen curtains blew gently in the breeze through the open window.  A neon sun and bright blue gentle August morning had painted another dream.  Yet I rarely sip tea nor do I collect tea pots.  Why did the teapot appear?

Fall leaves and winter chill washed the landscape with snow and ice.  During a break in the weather, my husband and I traveled out of state for a bit of  recreation and shopping.  We stopped into one of our favorite grocery and variety stores.  Browsing through the shelves, I SAW IT!  THE TEAPOT IN THE WINDOW!  It was the identical blue and white Blue Willow pattern.  I had even seen the two painted birds in my dream pattern.  We eagerly filled our cart with the sale priced Blue Willow everyday dishes to replace some of our own dwindling collection.

But what about the teapot?  Of course it was not on sale...I picked it up.  The store had only one teapot.  I put it back down, not able to add it to the cart, and walked on for more shopping.  But I came back!  I looked again.  My husband suggested I buy the teapot of my dreams!

We took the treasure home.  We brewed tea in the winter night.  We loved our prize dishes.  We went back the next day to get more sale priced plates and bowls.  Where were all the dishes?  THEY WERE GONE!  We asked the manager, "Oh, we packed those up late yesterday and shipped them back to the manufacturer."

"Imagine," I thought, "If I had not bought the teapot yesterday!"  Then I reflected that I had reached into the "window" just in time and pulled out the teapot at the exact moment!  Is this how the universe works?

Recently a friend Judy came to visit.  I fetched the Blue Willow teapot.  As I prepared tea, I told Judy the story of the Teapot in the Window.  When we sat down to steaming fresh spearmint tea, Judy said, "Have you told me this story before?"

"Maybe last year?" I questioned.

"No," Judy replied, "But I had a dream sometime in the last few days.  It was you and your voice telling me this exact story!  You mentioned the Teapot in the Window in my dream!  It was blue and white!  I woke up expecting to find blue and white dishes and even looked around the room to see if there were any visible."

"And there," Judy pointed, "Is the Teapot in the Window!"

"Judy," I exclaimed, "I've been trying to write this story for five years now, and I just couldn't sit down and write it.  Why couldn't I write about my dream?  Today you came to visit and gave me the final data.  Now I can complete the picture of the Teapot in the Window!"

THE HUMAN ANGEL

A long time ago in a galaxy far away....

I went to a prayer circle at a local church.  We prayed for people with their permission, anonymously if they wished.  All prayers are confidential.  Gradually I developed a friendship with Joanna, later to become my mentor.

One day in prayer group, the leader questioned, "After you leave the Earth, how do you picture yourself?  Are you in Heaven?  What does it look like?"

Louise, "I'm going to be an Angel!"

The leader shot back, "That's impossible, Humans can't be Angels."

Louise, "Well, how would you know?"

Angels Among Us
As I got to know Louise better, she mentioned "Johanna" a lot.  Finally I said, "Who is Johanna?"

*"OH!  She's my Guardian Angel!"

"Well, how do you know that?"

"You just ask!"

I thought, "She talks to Angels?"  I recalled William Blake as several of his Angel etchings flashed across my inner vision.  I kept silent, managing to be open minded and not bolt away since Louise was a scientist and very A-B-C oriented, the opposite of me, a non-linear picture mind.

Once a month Louise and I sat in our "office" to compare notes and experiences.  The office was a large book store with a coffee shop.  "Our" table was piled high with reference books, note pads, and sometimes paintings.  I encouraged Joanna to attend my Tai Chi classes.  "I have metal plates in my ankle, and I won't be able to stand on one leg."

I got right up out of my chair and demonstrated the Tai Chi movement, White Crane Spreads Wings, and how to "stand" on one leg..."You just point your toe!"

"Yes, now I can come to your Tai Chi classes!"  Louise came to all my weekly classes  for many years!   Louise brought friends to enjoy Tai Chi's benefits.  Louise ] glowed and radiated, a beacon of light for others, gentle yet assertive.

Louise introduced me to my Guardian Angel, Sharon, and how to develop an open positive communication.  Other angels gradually appeared to help me, "The Team of Specialists," along with St. Michel (Michael), "The Supervisor."  Animal Angels came into view one at a time....

The Human Angel
"When the time is right, you will tell all you know."  I wrote furiously as Louise spoke.  "Whoever leaves the Earth first, the other will be right there.  There is no separation between the visible and the invisible...NONE!"

"I have been on the Earth for many lifetimes.  I am getting ready to leave the Earth, and return to my Angel Light state.  I can't wait to be an Angel again!"

I remembered that there is much written about the separation of angels and humans.  I thought of passages I had read in books and heard in stories, and dreams.  I mentioned this.  Louise exclaimed,  "Well, how would they know?"

"I almost ran away from you when you talked about communicating with your Angel," I added.  "How did you manage to convince me to stay around?"

"I hunted you down!  Let Us Prey,"  Louise chuckled!  "That's Angel Humor!"

I wandered through the bookstore...and selected Healing With The Angels by Doreen Virtue.  I opened it at random and instantly "found" a section about Earth Angels.  Harry Potter wasn't even published yet!  I telephoned my cosmic friend, "It is no coincidence that we met."

* Over the years, Louise helped and encouraged me to write and refine the book, Silver Butterfly Create A Vision, a Tai Chi journey with a mystic twist.  Out of the Blue is the continuing tale of the Silver Butterfly.

Louise is her Angel Light now, helping with the Earth from beyond the physical world.  She says, "Do you ever wonder what fills the empty spaces?"

"Louise, What do you call this friendship?"

"Dahlis, This friendship is Out of this World!"

And now the Earth is shifting into higher consciousness, Louise speaks:
"Let your life unfold like the petals of a rose opening, one at a time and each in perfect order."

"All of us are here with unique gifts and talents to touch each others' lives in ways no one else can."

"We have gone way beyond words (worlds)."

We are not here to witness the great shift, we are here to help with it,"

THE GREAT HARVEST

Rare days of gold and scarlet are here, kissed with bright sun and blue skies and very warm temperatures with low humidity.  We are like children playing in the sand right "Now!"

Recently I was leafing through the I Ching in search of some ancient writings just for fun.  I found a treasure:  The Great Harvest!

ZENWALK!

Beachwalk
My son Rob and I headed for a nearby beach one October Sunday afternoon.  The air was bright with sun and blue October haze.  The scent of the apple cider golden leaves filled colored spaces.  Orange and scarlet sprinkled with gold greeted us as we drove down the country highway under canopies of green and azure.

There were a few scattered families enjoying the rare Autumn treat of hot weather, 80 degrees!  Rob and I quickly shed our light jackets and tied them around our waists.  I donned my sunglasses and faded Army hat and sank gleefully into the deep white sands. We descended the weathered wooden steps to the beach, ripened by sun and footsteps.

As I sank into the drifting sands of time, I felt like a child testing the waters of a giant swimming pool.  Looking about, Rob and I noticed snow fences were already in place bracing for winter storms to come.  Warm wind hit our faces as we felt our ankles get a workout walking into the sandstorm's pliable surface.  Swirls of sand blew and tumbled around us.  An ebony dog barked joyfully as his owner tossed a stick into the water for him to retrieve.

I glanced out at this water!  It was neon bright turquoise!  A color not usually visible on physical Earth.  The waves sparked and glowed like a blue fire of brightness frosted with the icing of white caps.  We saw sailboats with brightly colored furls unfolded like painted peacocks.

I thought about cranes and clouds.  I noted to Rob that one of my friends had watched a Sandhill crane, a huge iron gray bird with a seven foot wingspan.  The crane swooped over the water and sand and caught a fish in mid flight!

Recently, Beth, a Holistic Practitioner, presented me with a Blue Heron feather, a prehistoric memory in blue-gray perfection.  "Become Like A Human Feather," I told Tai Chi students years ago....

Passing the beach grass and dunes, I glanced to the South, where I had learned Tai Chi practice and teaching.  I thought about Tai Chi and how my life is enhanced by practicing.  Rob taught me basics, and then took me to his Tai Chi class to learn and grow.  I remembered Rob said, "Tai Chi enters the entire arena of your life."  I faced the liquid lake to the West and began to practice a little Tai Chi Yang Long Form.  Moving in Tai Chi, as the white crane spreads its wings, I turned from the West slowly to the South.  I felt exhilarated and quite alive and thought about Tai Chi friends waiting there.

Then Rob and I walked through the sands and felt the hot sun beating down on us.  We remembered summers past.  We U-turned and silently headed back to the car, our great escape chariot was turning back into a pumpkin.  Again, I gazed out at the water so alive and so bright in hue I will need celestial paints to capture it.  Sand squished in our shoes.  I looked down at our shadows streaking out ahead of us, long and lean like two twigs cut from the same branch, twins in thought and vision.  Recalling the Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield, I smiled remembering at the end of the book, some of the friends were able to raise their physical vibrations high enough to vanish!  I like that.

It doesn't get any better than this!  COSMIC!

CREATE A VISION COMES TO LIFE

HERE WE GROW AGAIN!

"The border between the known and unknown is the most beautiful place to explore," Brian Cox, particle physicist.

Silver Butterfly

What is Create A Vision?

"I have no idea how this will work out, but I will use one of your descriptions and invent a painting!"

"I asked God to guide my hands while I painted flowers for my daughter."

"When I read your stories, for the first time, I saw pictures instead of words."

"You are responsible for your own healing, it's you that's healing you."

"I felt I was sleepwalking, but I am suddenly learning to fly with my own wings."

"I carry you in my heart."

"Nurture another person to be what they want to be."

"Notice how many more people say, 'I Love You' these days AND mean it!"

THAT'S CREATE A VISION!

*The Dream Create A Vision

I charted my dreams in notebooks and scraps of paper.  I painted wildly and with inspiration.  Many new subjects in brighter colors opened up to me.  I had a vivid dreams in living color.  One dream was a night scene.  The image was a replay of a painting by Edward Hopper called Nighthawks.  His original painting showed a couple having a late night cup of coffee.  A solitary man hunched over his drink in a corner while the waiter leaned over to talk to the couple.  Hopper, an American painter, used a hard-edged style.  The colors were stark, almost neon bright yet dark in surreal greens, golds, and russets.

In my dream, Nell was in a shop painting signs.  The colors and bold slashed images of the store front were the same as in Hopper's painting!  Nell was alone, her head bent down over a painting project, her long dark hair brushing forward, framing her face.

There was a bold neon sign above the outside door of the shop.  The colors were fifty's style neon tubing, a multicolor ribbon of magenta, gold, green, and blue.  The message danced:

C R E A T  -  V I S N !

"What's That?"

I woke with a start and jotted down "creata-visn" on a bedside note pad.

"Oh, I get it!  Create A Vision!"

The stark bold image and words stuck.  What could it mean?

Create A Vision became a motto, a concept for expanding energy flow and outreach.  Thoughts and feeling interwoven with trust, intuition, and synchronicity appeared with clarity.  Silver Butterfly, Create A Vision, a book was born.  I had a title.  Now to write and "organize," the artist's toughest task.

Tai Chi adventure entered my life about the same time.  My son, Rob, took me to Tai Chi class.  My health improved by leaps and bounds.  Tai Chi practice and later teaching enabled my left brain to open enough to tackle the huge writing project assignment and complete it.

Creata-Visn Comes to Life!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

OUT OF THE BLUE, Create A Vision: Unlocking Continuous Miracles,
a Journey of the Heart-Mind, is one year old today!

Sept 26, 2010, two of my three children accompanied me as I pushed "publish" for the first time.  We all stood in silent jaw-dropping awe as the giant blue butterfly uploaded online as if by magic!  I felt tears.

"Now What?"

"Mom, just start writing!"

What a year of adventure and learning this is, a dynamic synergistic experience ongoing and encompassing realms of known and unknown.

What have I learned?  A bit about preparing photos for the Internet, a lot about logic and organization, a lesson in letting go of form, agendas, and outlined plans.   Subjects, art work, and photos upload appearing without much conscious thought.  Freedom from timetables, deadlines, editing, managing,  table of contents and more are  mine, online and open-ended!

How do I write and paint?  Spontaneously and with great joy!  Where will the brush or keyboard lead?  Let it go!  Let it happen!   Right brained words tumble out in streams or blocks of solid thoughts, or even catchy titles furiously scribbled on scraps of paper and later processed into solid left brained somewhat orderly light-words coming in from the Earth and beyond to become blog posts.  Like a giant jig saw puzzle, individual scattered bits of words, colors, and dreams fit together in harmony and balance.  Mind-training in action is here, a blend of intuition and trust.

Thank you family and friends, readers, contributors, and lightworkers visible and invisible for continuous encouragement, center stage and behind the scenes!  Keep up your great work!

What's ahead?  An "ongrowing" event, word (world) wide, an unlimited blueprint, a plan without boundaries!  Come Join The Dance!
