What is Overnight Coffee? Glad You Asked~
I saw a food show episode called Cold Brew (coffee) with Alton Brown. I watched with interest. I had quit drinking coffee years ago because of caffeine sensitivity. I definitely do not need extra stimulation in brain and memory functions.

Through the "years" once in a while I would "brew" a small amount of coffee with boiling water whole beans placed in a small custard cup. In the kitchen, I could enjoy the aroma of fresh coffee as I completed tasks at hand.
The Cold Brew show interested me because "I could try that!" I could take a medium amount of whole coffee beans sprinkled in their custard cup and add (breathe) 2 medium sized pieces of ice cubes. The ice would melt gently overnight. An aroma might be released in the bedroom! Alton Brown stressed that the cold brew coffee, might taste sweeter and less acidic.
The cold brew is so easy to make! It is calming. No scorching water to boil!
I tried it!
The cold brew "coffee experiment" gave me a gently pleasant aroma during the night when I might wake up for a few minutes. Yes! The cold brew definitely smells sweeter to me and longer lasting aroma release. The "therapy" did not agitate at all, but was pleasantly relaxing (for me). I'd go right back to sleep. The aroma seems to be variable in strength depending on the time of night or AM, or a fan running, or, now in Fall, a bit of heat circulating.
I personally liked this better than essential oils. They were pleasant but a bit strong for me.
Meditation at night has helped a lot! Just a little bit calms and focuses me. I sleep better and wake up earlier (new for me) but I am feeling better. The cats are calmer too and quieter over night.
